My first Australian barbie

I met an Australian girl named Rhycea here at my apartment complex and she has been very kind in introducing me to the area and the culture. I went with her the other day to get some food at the supermarket and she decided it would be fun to have an Australian barbie (most American's know about the word barbie from the saying, "lets put another shrimp on the barbie", which basically is just a shorter way of saying barbeque). Anyway, a barbie here is equivalent to what Americans call grilling out. American's cook hamburgers, hotdogs, steaks etc. while Australians typically cook lamb, shrimp, sausage etc. It was a lot of fun and the food was very good.
